Milk wood flower

The Milk Wood flower was first identified by Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander in 1770.

Solander was a pupil of Carl Linneas, and was the first Swedish backpacker to travel around the world. He did so in style, on board the Endevour. James Cook was the 41 year old Master in George III's Navy at the time and was in charge of the ship.

Joseph Banks bankrolled the trip. You can bank on that.
